Okay, I've been here for a few weeks now and have to say there doesn't seem to be much old iron laying around the fields and farmyards of SE Alberta. Talked to one of the locals working at the jobsite and he said it's been picked over pretty hard. He said try the backroads in the next province over. Went to Reynolds Museum on the weekend (had a couple days off but not enough to come home) and saw the sights to see there. Unfortunately the autowrecker was closed. I could see through the fence but could not get in. Most of what I could see from the road was mid to late forties iron. Some day hopefully I can get back to see some of the treasures that are inside the fence away from the view from the road.
