The Weekend Warrior This one sold a while back but it was fun. Son's 67 Chev pickup, Daughter's 67 Firebird, Wife's 67 Firebird The Dream Car. With a little more work and some decent weather this should be my driver this summer. The Nightmare Steering in the Dream Car The Nightmare Car. I'll do a build thread on this one when I get some time.

I think you got those backwards. That car in the grass will never be fixed and the blue one is cool like Old Elky. What kind of car is it? Whats the blue motor in? You should put it in the blue car. Do you own any of those cars or do they all belong to your wife and kids?

The Dream Car is going to be at this years show. If things go as planned I should be able to drive it there.

Whacked the top on the Dream Car this weekend. Here's some before and after shots. 3" roof drop along with a 4" suspension drop it's starting to get some attitude. Once I'm done with the welder I can get some glass in it. That'll be a good thing... Before After Before After Before After

One thing I discovered recently.... when you build a car and look at it all the time, you don't get a good look at what you've done. Now that I've been away for awhile and not had to look at it every day, the results of all the time and parts thrown together, I think it looks kind of cool sitting there. I'm starting to look forward to next summer when I can take it a little farther, like maybe put a windshield in it...and then take it for a drive.... that is after I fix the shifter cable and put some gas in it....
I'm looking forward to being home for a couple weeks at christmas so maybe I'll be able to spend some quality time with the Cougar as well. Maybe both of them. The one in the garage needs a little more metal work...the one in the kitchen...I'll have to check on....

Got an old cornbinder (46 international) truck a couple weeks ago. Needs a bunch of work but will be a cool parts chaser when "done". I think I'll stick to the rat rod type theme and keep it fairly simple. Otherwise it will have to be nicer then Dougs and it's hard to beat tilt front end with a blown small block..

Home for the weekend and the Mrs said I had to do something other then sit around so I played with the Dream Car for a few hours. Put the wheels and tires that were on the S10 last year onto the Hudson. Along with the top chop it kind of took on a different look. Had such a bunch of fun I just may have to find something to play with after work in the flat lands...

Time for an update. Now it has fenders and running boards, lenses in the headlights, a windshield, exhaust and a trunk. It's amazing how much you can get done around the house when you take a couple months off work. Going to permit it for Stampede weekend just for fun...

Not going to waste paint on this car. It gets so much attention the way it is. If it were to be painted it would just blend in....
