is a '68 Corvette Coupe. 454 cu. in. Munsie 4 speed (5spd soon ;D), 3.70 rear, Safari Yellow. There is a bunch of work done to the car either by me or by previous owners.
Engine Bay:
Completely stripped down to bare and repainted/restored/replaced everything. New wiring harnesses, vacuum system, radiator, fan shroud, radiator core support, wiper motor. The radiator/shroud/core were replaced when the big block was swapped in. HEI ignition for reliablility.
Front Suspension:
Suspension has new bushings, ball joints, tie-rods, idler arm, spindles, bearings, larger diameter sway bar, springs.
Rear Suspension:
New VB&P fiberglass monospring, new brakes all around like the fronts, added a sway bar.
Like engine bay, everything was stripped and rebuilt/replaced. New brakes including rotors, calipers, lines, dust shields. Upgraded to power brakes with a new booster and master cylinder. Ceramic coated headman headers and 2 1/2" magnaflow stainless mufflers. Holley street avenger 770 carburator.
Here are are some pics.
It has power brakes installed by previous owner and power steering installed by moi. I've also installed new weather stripping to keep the rain out as I put A LOT of miles on this and do get caught in the weather.
I Will be adding different (slightly) rims. (pictures later)
Here is a video. Sorry about the quality. (If this is not pertinent to this site the moderator can remove it.)
The motor was rebuilt with roller everything and a custom cam. I have specific numbers if anyone is interested. The work was done by Custom Auto Rebuilding Service (CARS) in P.G. They treated me extremely well and were VERY helpful with helping me make decisions every step of the way. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone needing any type of engine work done.
